Simon joined CapGen in February 2010 as a member of the firm’s analytics team, where he was responsible for performance and risk analysis of client portfolios as well as developing proprietary quantitative tools to support investment decisions. In 2015 he moved into the investment research team, where he is responsible for identifying and performing due diligence on best-in-breed fund managers across traditional and alternative asset classes, with a particular focus on quantitative strategies. Simon graduated from the University of York with a first class Masters in Physics with Astrophysics. He is also an IMC holder.
