Kathryn supports the firm’s General Counsel in relation to a broad range of legal issues, including drafting client contracts, preparing legal fund reviews and memos and advising on employment law matters. She takes a leading role in respect of external supplier contract negotiations, Direct Investment team support and Intellectual Property issues. Prior to joining CapGen, Kathryn spent almost 10 years in private practice as an employment lawyer at Travers Smith, supporting the Private Equity team’s institutional investor and investee clients in relation to buy outs and ad hoc employment law matters. Kathryn has an Honours degree in Law from Bristol University and studied the Legal Practice Course at Cardiff Law School. She qualified as a Solicitor in England & Wales in 2005.
